FAQ
What should I wear?
Garden cocktail attire. Think: dressy enough for a celebration, comfortable enough for grass and a golf course backdrop. Ladies — a low-ish heel or wedge will thank you later.
Is this a kid-friendly wedding?
We love your little ones, but we're keeping the day intimate — this one's adults-only, with the exception of our nieces and nephews.
What's this whole "two-part day" thing?
Our wedding day has two acts. The ceremony and celebration happen midday at 1757 Golf Club — think spritz bar, food stations, lawn games, and lots of time to actually talk to people. Later that evening, we're keeping the party going somewhere different for a more casual after party. Same amazing guests, different vibe. Full details on the Schedule page.
What if it rains?
1757 has a rain plan built in at no extra charge, so the celebration goes on regardless of weather. We'll keep everyone posted if anything shifts.
Do you have a gift registry?
Your presence really is present enough. If you're looking for a way to celebrate with us, come ready to eat, drink, and hang out — that's the whole gift.
What's the deal with the cookie table?
It's a Pittsburgh wedding tradition and it means everything to us — instead of (or alongside) a wedding cake, family and friends bake and contribute dozens of cookies, and the whole spread becomes the dessert table. Becky's family has done this for generations, and we couldn't imagine our wedding without it. Come hungry.
